How to Scan QR Code Using Android Phones - For those of you who are new to Android phones, you need to know that your phone has the ability to read QR code; code which will take you automatically to a website. This step must be faster and easier than having to type in the URL of a webpage that is long enough.
It works by utilizing the camera on your Android phone. However you still need a QR code reader app so that what has been captured by the camera can be directly translated through a browser.
Note also that Google Play Store has an extensive collection of QR Code reader. In this tutorial we will use a QR Code Reader app (3MB) which is quite popular.
1. Go to Google Play and download QR Code reader (free).
2. Open your newly downloaded applications. Point the camera at the QR code you want, let the application work.
